Earlier today, Samsung started rolling out the fifth beta version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. According to the changelog, it brings new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements. Well, as it turns out, it also brings things that aren’t mentioned in the change log.
One of them, as Tarun Vats points out, is live notification for Sports from Google. This feature gives you updates about sports and leagues that you are interested in, such as their scores, on the lock screen, on the status bar, and at the top of the notification panel. This feature is also available in the Galaxy S25 series.

The description for the feature says “To see Sports from Google in the Now bar, you need to go to Sports from Google settings and follow teams or leagues.” We are hoping to see more new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements from this beta version.
This could be the last beta version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series. We expect Samsung to release the stable version of the software to the three devices in the next few weeks. Soon after that, Samsung may start rolling it out to other eligible devices.
